The unassuming plastic coated cage gently holds the moss in place, yet is rigid enough to secure your wire ties to and stabilize the plant through the introductory phase.

* The Sphagnum Moss used in this product is not a living moss and is primarily used for its water retention and anti bacterial properties. This moss however can grow under favourable conditions and over several months, new green growth may be observed.

This premium moss pole fulfills your plant’s wildest fantasies, by encouraging aerial growth through a perfectly moistened bed of sustainably sourced Sphagnum moss. The unassuming plastic coated cage gently holds the moss in place, yet is rigid enough to secure your wire ties to and stabilize the plant through the introductory phase. Sphagnum moss holds up to 3 times its weight in water and assisted by our perfected self watering wicking system, it receives a steady water supply- ensuring you don’t have to mist daily to receive photo finish results.

The self-watering variant consists of a braided wicking cord reaching deep into the vessel which holds 315ml of water and ends in a plaited bandage covering the surface area of the moss pole, delivering moisture at a steady rate for the moss to stay hydrated; keeping you sane and your plant happy.

We use only the finest sustainably sourced Chilean Sphagnum Moss which is washed and sterilized, before being attached to a moss pole; ensuring your plants receive only the best without compromising on quality

Self Watering

Why hasn’t this been done sooner! Well they tried, but we do it so much better.

The water is wicked up to the top of the pole through capillary action and distributed evenly along the wicking material which is bound to the core of the pole.

The water is then onward absorbed by the moss and delivered to the plant’s aerial roots, as and when required.
