* The Hypnum Moss we use is carefully preserved and not live. It is primarily used for its neutral pH of 7.0 and gentle fertilisation properties. This moss will not stay green forever and does not grow. This does not effect the overall quality, support or effectiveness of this moss pole

This green little moss pole boasts gentle fertilisation and encourages growth by providing nutrient support to your precious cuttings and plant babies.  Dubbed Mini Moss for its stature, this little moss pole is the perfect gift as it is very easy to care for. Hypnum moss has a pH of 7.0, making it far more more neutral than Sphagnum (ph5.5) and the perfect accompaniment for Raphidophora Tetrasperma, Philodendrons, Pothos, Hoyas, and Monstera Adonsonii. This traditional moss pole will require daily misting to keep it moist.

Self Watering

Why hasn’t this been done sooner! Well they tried, but we do it so much better.

The water is wicked up to the top of the pole through capillary action and distributed evenly along the wicking material which is bound to the core of the pole.

The water is then onward absorbed by the moss and delivered to the plant’s aerial roots, as and when required.
